Obey Pole (on Metal), 2001, is a screenprint on metal from an edition of 6. This work features Fairey's iconic OBEY imagery, originally derived from his "Andre the Giant Has a Posse" street art campaign that began in 1989. The printing on metal represents Fairey's experimentation with alternative surfaces, giving the work a distinctive industrial quality that complements his bold graphic style.
The print was produced in a very limited edition of only 6 pieces, making it an exceptionally rare example of Fairey's early 2000s work.
