"Doldrums (H13-12)" is part of Damien Hirst's "Where the Land Meets the Sea" series released in 2023. This work is an edition based on the original painting "SC56. Doldrums" from Hirst's "Seascapes" series. The artwork combines photorealistic seascape imagery with expressionistic paint splatters, creating a visual tension between controlled representation and gestural abstraction.

This approach merges elements from Hirst's "Sea Paintings" series with the more expressive qualities of his "Coast Paintings." The "Where the Land Meets the Sea" series represents Hirst's continued exploration of natural elements and boundaries, focusing on the dynamic meeting point between land and ocean. Framed works, paintings, and sculptural objects require custom shipping arrangements. Our team will coordinate the safest and most cost-effective solution based on location, medium, and scale. Please allow 7–10 business days for preparation and dispatch.

We also offer archival framing for works acquired from our archive. All framing is museum-grade and designed to conservation standards, including:
