H13-1 is a print of a vibrant action painting titled "Deadman's Cove." It's part of the "Coast Paintings" series, created by Damien Hirst in 2019. These colorful works capture the energy and dynamism of the wintery British coastline,reflected in their names inspired by specific locations. Interestingly, the canvases for the "Coast Paintings" were originally laid flat on the floor of Hirst's studio while he was working on his famed "Cherry Blossoms" series.
In addition to the "Coast Paintings" series, H13-1 is also included in the "Where the Land Meets the Sea" collection. This broader series features artworks from several of Hirst's ocean-inspired series, including "Sea Paintings" and "Seascapes."
